National Beach Volleyball Advisory Committee

The Beach Volleyball Advisory Committee (BVAC), set up 12 months ago, has had a huge impact on how our beach events are structured and managed.The committee members are to be congratulated for their enthusiasm and dedication for our beach program of events.

The regulations governing the BVAC stipulate that the membership of the committee is for a 12-month period only.VA is seeking expressions of interest from individuals wishing to contribute to the future planning and delivery of our national Beach Volleyball events and programs for the next 12-month period.

VA is looking for personnel with a broad cross section of knowledge and experience in Beach Volleyball including a diverse range of strategic and operational skills that could be applied to the National Beach Volleyball Tour, domestic and international program of events, National Ranking Points System, and related events and programs that can consolidate and enhance the importance of beach volleyball in Australia.

The Committee will also have a mandate to seek the views from the wider beach volleyball community to ensure its considerations are informed by a rich and nationally sourced breadth of opinion.

The Committee is supported by the following VA personnel who as a group will consider and elevate recommendations from the Committee to the VA Senior Management Group for determination:

  • VA Beach Volleyball Events Manager
  • VA Beach Volleyball High Performance Operations Manager
  • VA Beach Volleyball Competition Systems Adviser
